Customer story · Link Golf UK

A planned move.
A stronger foundation for the working day.

When your business operates across several locations, changing email systems needs more than technical know-how. It needs someone to take ownership of the plan, coordinate the people involved and keep the next step clear.

Flood IT Support helped Link Golf UK move its email environment to Microsoft 365, bringing domain coordination, migration planning and mailbox setup together in one phased project.

The business need

Keep the business moving while technology moves forward.

Link Golf UK needed a coordinated approach to its Microsoft 365 transition. Domain management, email access and the changeover all had to be considered together, with a clear understanding of who was doing what.

Our role was to make that process manageable: bring the work into an agreed scope, coordinate the domain transfer and discuss the migration timing with the customer before the changeover.

That is where a hands-on IT partner earns its place—connecting the technical work to the people and priorities behind it.

How Flood IT made it happen

Take ownership of the detail. Keep the way forward clear.

01 / Bring it together

A coordinated starting point.

We brought the domain and email requirements into the migration plan, coordinating the transfer arrangements and the access needed to move forward.

02 / Plan the transition

Make the changeover understandable.

We discussed a suitable migration window and the access changes involved, so the customer could understand the next step before the email environment moved.

03 / Put it into practice

Deliver the foundation.

We completed the Microsoft 365 email migration and configured shared mailboxes and automatic replies, keeping later device and infrastructure work within its own phase.

The result

A Microsoft 365 email foundation to build on.

The first phase is complete. Link Golf UK has moved to Microsoft 365 email, with shared mailboxes and automatic replies configured as part of the transition.

A completed migration. A defined next step.

By treating email migration and the later device and infrastructure phase separately, the project has a clear boundary around what has been delivered and what comes next.
